Guizhou Zhenhua E-chem Inc.. (referred to as “ZEC,” the original Shenzhen Zhenhua E-chem Co., LTD.) was established in April 2004, and the controlling shareholder is China zhenhua electronics group co., LTD.. As the only enterprise specialized in the research and development, production and sales of lithium ion battery materials of China Electronic Corporation (CEC), the company’s main products are LCO, hybrid NCM, power NCM and Mn-based cathode materials. At present, the company has a production line with an annual output of 30,000 tons of cathode materials, taking the lead of domestic counterparts.

The company has always been based on independent innovation and is committed to building its own research and development team. After nearly 20 years of unremitting efforts, the company has successfully developed key technologies such as wet synthesis technology of materials, synthesis technology of spherical primary particle large single crystal of power NCM cathode materials, control technology of free lithium on the surface of materials, control technology of particle morphology, etc., which have significantly improved the cycle performance and safety performance of NCM cathode materials and enhanced the reliability of batteries.
The company firstly developed and mass produced and sold primary and large single crystal particles of NCM cathode material in the industry. It proposed a new technical idea and direction in improving the structural stability of the material, gradually developed and completed a series of material systems and fully realized industrialization. At the same time, on this basis, the dynamic performance of the material is further improved, so that the high voltage stability, high temperature stability, cycle life, safety performance, rate performance, DC internal resistance (battery system) and other indicators of NCM cathode materials can basically meet the requirements of electric vehicle power batteries, and become the mainstream material of domestic power batteries.

Relying on the core technology and production process accumulated through independent research and development for more than 10 years, 18 domestic and international invention patents have been authorized (including 8 in Japan, the United States, South Korea and Europe), while 25 domestic and foreign invention patents are under review or open stage and are widely used in the company's products. Among them, " polycrystalline cobalt nickel manganese cathode material and its preparation method, secondary lithium ion battery" (patent number: ZL200910110132.9) won the China patent excellence award.
In response to the national poverty alleviation strategy, the company invested Guizhou Zhenhua Yilong E-chem Co., Ltd. in January 2017 in the southwest of Guizhou Province. The company is located in Xinqiao Town, Anlong County, the southwest of Guizhou Province, and Anlong County is a national poverty-stricken county. With the completion and operation of the Yilong Phase I and Phase II projects with a total investment of 2 billion yuan, it is estimated that Yilong Company will have a total annual production capacity of 40,000 tons in 2019, with an additional sales revenue of more than 5 billion yuan and a profit tax of more than 300 million yuan, which will drive more than 1,100 poor people in Anlong County to find jobs, increase employment income by more than 50 million yuan, and effectively help Anlong County overcome poverty.
